Tidesong Bed and Breakfast is located in a peaceful setting amongst mature native trees, overlooking the beautiful Taiharuru Estuary.
We are just 30 minutes drive east of Whangarei.
There are spectacular coastal roads in the Taiharuru area, suitable to train for cycling events, or just to explore - without the traffic pressure of the highways.
Our rural setting, tidal estuary, and native bush locations means birds of around 50 species either visit or live and breed here.
Various migratory species make Taiharuru their home for a while each year, including godwits, plover, wrybills, spoonbills and occasionally black swan.
